This publication was arranged by the "Not Forgotten Association" formed by Miss Cunningham to raise finance for, and awarenesss of, those maimed in the service of hte nation during the Great War of 1914-18. Contributions to this anthology were donated by famous writers of the day, such as Walter de la Mare, John Buchan, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Arnold Bennet and John Drinkwater.
